2023 Pricing Update: While we have previously been able to keep our pricing unchanged since opening in 2018, the rising cost of our day to day operations has made it necessary to adjust our service prices starting as of March 6, 2023.

Our new pricing for physiotherapy services will be as follows:

– First Visits/Assessment (60 mins): $120

– Follow Up Session (60 mins): $120

– Follow Up Session (30 mins): $90

– Follow Up Session (15 mins*): $65 * The 15-minute option is best for specialized standalone treatments such as dry-needling, low-level laser therapy, and radial shockwave-only treatments.

Physiotherapy is a primary care, autonomous, client-focused health profession dedicated to improving quality of life by:
- Promoting optimal mobility, physical activity and overall health and wellness;
- Preventing disease, injury, and disability;
- Managing acute and chronic conditions, activity limitations, and participation restrictions;
- Improving and maintaining optimal functional independence and physical performance;
- Rehabilitating injury and the effects of disease or disability with therapeutic exercise programs and other interventions; and
- Educating and planning maintenance and support programs to prevent re-occurrence, re-injury or functional decline.

Treatments offered include manual therapy techniques, soft-tissue release including cupping and IASTM, acupuncture/dry needling, electrotherapy/ultrasound therapies, and a progressive exercise program.

Brittany is originally from a small farming town in Southern Ontario but fell in love with the North from a young age while camping with her parents. Brittany has completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology (B.Sc. Kin) at Laurentian and her Masters of Science Physical Therapy (M.Sc. PT) at Western University.

Brittany has a range of experiences under her belt from working as a physiotherapy assistant (PTA) previously and on clinical placements in orthopaedics, in-patient cardiorespiratory floors and public sector clinics. She is also certified in treating pelvic floor having completed her Level 1 course in urinary incontinence and prolapses. She has also taken her Level 2 course for pelvic pain treatments and is currently taking new patients in pelvic health.

Outside of work, Brittany is an avid canoer, hiker and camper as she loves to get outdoors as much as she can. She also enjoys running recreationally and playing volleyball at various levels within the Sudbury community.

Born and raised in Sudbury, Derek Weiss is a Registered Physiotherapist who has graduated from Queen’s University with a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Prior to this, Derek obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education from Laurentian University.

Derek is driven to help clients get more active, improve their movement, and help them to optimize their performance in whatever task they wish to complete, from activities of daily living to high-performance athletics. This, along with decreasing pain and regaining normal function following injury or surgery, will help improve the overall quality of life of his patients. Derek takes a goal-oriented approach and sets up meaningful and achievable goals with his patients to allow the treatment plan to be tailored to each individual person.

He has experience with assessing and treating musculoskeletal injuries within the general population, athletes, people involved in motor-vehicle accidents, and members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Derek takes a multi-modal approach to treatment that includes manual therapy, advanced soft-tissue release, acupuncture, dry needling, exercise, and education. He has a special interest in treating postural imbalances of both the shoulder and hip region; which affect many individuals due to the increased amounts of time spent sitting in our daily lives. Derek also continues to advance his practice by attending continuing education courses on a regular basis.
